Change. There’s Something Happening Here …

by on July 24, 2013

“There’s something happening here … what it is, ain’t exactly clear.” Buffalo Springfield

Change.

Can you feel it?

This shifting, reconsidering, opening?

Things are a-changing, gorgeous one, in hearts, in minds, round the globe, and we are right smack-dab in the middle of it.

People are embracing where there was prejudice,

and being nice to each other in small, unheralded ways.

The planets are sending us blue-moon messages and we women are responding.

Instead of putting up with, we’re rising up with … sisters in arms, a cosmic chandelier of heart-light.

“Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.” –Jim Rohn

There is more feminine magic and female leaders than ever before in boardrooms, in classrooms, in homes.

We’re done with being second class and side-lined.

We are ready to be more Malala than maligned.

and we know it’s time.

Time for change and challenge.

For reclamation and renewal.

AAAAAAAAND …

It’s time for YOU to do what you’re here to do.

As Marianne Williamson said,  when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Listen to me, glorious one. Let me cup your chin and tilt your head so our eyes meet and you pay attention.

Let my words sink into your heart and blossom in your mind.

“You are here for a reason. You might not know exactly what that is, but that doesn’t matter right now. Just honour the possibility. Consider the chance that you could change someone’s world today, by your words, your smile, your example. Believe in your power to cause ripples. Live your delight … today. Be the woman you know you are.”

Yes, I know, change can be unsettling.

Especially if life happens pretty comfortable right now or even if it’s just ok.

There’s security in the known.

Endless options and uncertain outcomes have a way of making even the most confident heart beat a little faster.

But whatever you do, don’t let the what-if’s scare you into standing still. That’s how ruts are made and a rut is just a grave with both ends open.

Truth about Change

The truth is, angelheart, everything changes, whether we like it or not.

The deliciousness is, we can change it to how we’d like it to be.

Ok so now it’s your turn, snookums.

Does change make you nervous?
Is there something you’ve been dying to undo/not-do/redo but haven’t … yet?
Have you noticed the planetary shifts or could you care less?
Got an awesomesauce success story that we can all relish with you?

And tell your friends. Because change is coming, and collaboration is the new name of the game.

So true, Jacqui. We all resist change on some level, don’t we?
