How To Get Business Training Without Going Broke!

Can you tell I Needed the Kindle for PC app??

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve been an information junkie for absolutely ever!

Recipe books.
Decorating books.
How not to raise a bratty kid type books.
And more recently, oodles and oodles of business, marketing and mindset books.

But this little addiction can get rather spendy and
I just hate having to choose between the latest brilliance by Seth Godin
and and new pair of snazzy red heels for the summer!

(Such a terrible dilemma for a goddess!)

Then I found the Kindle  For Pc app!

Hallelujah!

*Rainbows, love, happy dance*

The Kindle  For Pc app is a free download and super simple to install.

Putting it on my laptop = no need to have to lug around yet another piece of electronic equipment.
Plus I’m not adding to the piles of read-only-once books that are lying around my house.

But the absolute Bestest part is …

The Kindle edition of almost every new release is at least $10 less than the actual book price,
(how luscious is that!)
so I’m saving money and trees, and keeping clutter at bay all at once!

How utterly luscious is that?!

And today, Randy Gage mentioned that every morning and every night, he reads a page or two of
As A Man Thinketh by James Allen.
Naturally I went to look  (Randy Gage is one of my ‘mentors’) and *oh happy dance*, there it was for $0.00!!

Timeless wisdom for fr*e … how divine.

It’s all just Utterly goddess-worthy, so I wanted you to know!

Bliss-ings and happy reading till next time,
the goddess known as Jacqui

PS The the Kindle  For Pc app won’t save you a lot on college text books, but Chegg will!
I’ve used them for the past 5 semesters for the Youngest Tax Deduction and saved a bundle.

PPS The Kindle/Amazon links are obviously affiliate awesomeness … so if you use them I shall get 5% of $0!

PPPS The Chegg link isn’t an affiliate one .. they won’t let me since I’m not in college, which is sad but I think they’re an incredible service and promote anyway. Saving money and planting trees … what’s not to love?

I love my kindle and I love my kindle app for my pc and I love that you can get it for your smart phone as well and they all SYNC so you can read all kinds of good stuff anytime and anywhere …and you are right Jac…all the classics are FREE! And there are many thought process books for $3 or so including Seth Godins mini books which I love. Poke The Box was a favorite! great post!

I’m loving having my library wherever I go!
And isn’t it cool that Godin, and more recently Steven Pressfield’s latest masterpiece “Do the Work” was Free when first released?
Definitely the future of publishing.

I don’t have a Kindle or a Nook….yet. But, I do have a PC program that I downloaded for free. It allows me to download books from the library and purchase from places like Amazon. I just have to be sure I get the right version for the program. When downloading from the library, I have a few weeks to read the selection before it’s no longer available or I have “re-new” it. It’s been wonderful…until I make that fun purchase of a Kindle!

The Kindle is awesome for finding some great reads for pennies on the dollar! I talked my wife into getting one with some leftover wedding gift money that we had and it’s probably the best gift we got! Although, it’s easy to get caught up in downloading great business and SEO books whenever you want them. As a Man Thinketh…there it is at his fingertips, whenever and wherever. =)

I love our Kindle, but I had to curtail our spending, because As a Man Thinketh, there it is at the tips of his fingers, whenever/wherever. =) Although, it’s fantastic to have around whenever you happen across a new business book you need to read and want it immediately!

I started using kindle on my droid phone last year. I do not think there is any place that provides value on the dollar close to what you can get on kindle. I have not used nook at all. Definitely a valuable tool for the owner of any business.

I too use the Kindle for PC, Android and Kindle but yes I soon found out as you say they don’t quite work for college text books. I think as School or College text books go you’re better off with a Tablet over a kindle.

Thank you so much Jacqueline for sharing this great tool. You are right this is a great application for bookworms who are concerned about environment. Kindle has put publishing to the next level and made books become more accessible for people.
