Life begins …. where?

by on June 27, 2010

There’s a lot to be to be said for being in a comfort zone. It is, after all, comfortable! Safe. Familiar. Risk-free.

But it is a scientific fact that nothing remains the same – in the absence of growth, there is always decay. That which is not growing, is dying.

Doesn’t make the comfort zone quite so enticing now, does it?

Recently, my comfort zone has been invaded!

By Kimberly Castleberry, Diane Hochman and JoAnn Donahue.

By Scott Manesis and Jackie Ulmer.

All pushing, and shoving, and goading me, whether directly on the phone or FB, or indirectly through blogs and videos, to get out and DO something; commit; take action; break out of the proverbial cocoon …

Oh but before you do, sign up for my list … you know, that opt-in box on the top right … so I can skydive into your comfort zone and kick your butt when you need it too!

You do want to grow, right?

Bravo, Goddess! Well spoken, well said. And, we all get there in our own way; on our own time, and so on! Thanks for being real, authentic, and letting people know it’s okay to have struggled and acknowledge those struggles along the way!

Love ya!

Comfort Zone equals a slow death, doesn’t it? It’s great to stretch the confines of that zone and see that you really can fly!

Val, you write the BESTEST comments!
You’re so right – comfort zone does equal slow death.
I once heard a rut being described as a grave with both ends open ~ so glad to be climbing out!

Aloha Jacqui,

I loved your video! You are so honest and transparent! Thank you so much for sharing. And yes, we have all been there in that comfort zone…one time I didn’t even realize it! (duh !) All I know is the statement, “you’re either growing or dying” is so true because if you are not on the roller coaster and so excited to get up every morning and then so excited you don’t want to go to bed every night, then you may be in a comfort zone!

Kellie 🙂
