Two Tools For Creating A Scrumptious New Year

by on January 2, 2013

Today is January 2nd, the first ‘work’ day of this newly unwrapped year
and for this goddess, it’s been even better than the official New Year’s Day.

Husband Muffin went off to work
and I settled down …
frothy coffee by my side,
Pandora playing Ambient radio,
fragrant candle lit.

First, a few minutes of tuning in to my Inner Guidance system,
and then diving in to the two tools that have already started working their manifestation magic.

Goddess Tool-belt Item #1 –
2013 Creating an Incredible Life and Business Planner2013Calendar-Badge-1-150

When I joined Leonie Dawson’s Goddess Circle just over a year ago, I did it to get my hands on her Planner. (There’s lots of other deliciousness that you get as a member, but it was the planner that I really, really wanted.) It was so deeply transformative, nurturing, revelatory that this year I would have paid for it twice over, had I been a member or not.

With this planner I have cleared and closed 2012 … tied it up with a ribbon and tucked it away for future reference.

With it I have created a vision for 2013 that knocks my socks off.

And with it I’ve finally managed to integrate my Luscious Life wishes with my Create-A-Goddess-Uncovery-Movement Business plans.
No mean feat, I tell you!!

Goddess Tool-belt Item # 2 –
Starring in My Own MovieMM30_120822_software_box_200w

For those of us who are the frightfully ‘visual’ type … creating a vision in one’s head is not enough.

At least, that’s what I found.

I had all these brilliant ideas/dreams/expectations in my mind, and scrawled on countless journal pages, but I needed more.
I needed to SEE them in more than just my mind’s eye.

Like, really, really SEEEEEEEE them!

So I made Vision Boards … lots of creative fun, but still … not enough.

Then I tried Mind Movies.

To be honest, I’d actually bought the product about two years ago. I’d sort of dabbled with it, made a short movie, and watched it a couple of times. And then, without my really realizing it, things started to happen. The stuff that I’d put in the movie started to show up in my life. OMG, it actually worked!

But as so often happens, I got wrapped up in the results … and stopped doing what had created those results in the first place.

Rather like going on a diet and doing regular exercise … when the weight drops off, we think we can cheat or stop being so diligent, and then we wonder why the pounds come back.

Anyway, sometime in November, Mind Movies popped back into my awareness somehow. I actually don’t know how it happened … maybe an email, or a YouTube video … but when my inner guidance prompts me, I listen.

I revisited the site and yes, THIS was exactly what I knew I needed.

I created a new movie for myself …(super simple to do, by the way), chose pictures that made me smile, music that moved my soul and words that sang to me. About 4 minutes of intense, uplifting, vibe-shifting manifestation magic.

I’ve been watching it daily.

And three out of the five intentions in it have already come true!

Now, I’m totally smitten.
I’m going to have to create a new movie because the intentions in the old one manifested so fast!!

Nice problem to have, right?

So, gorgeous soul, here’s my one-two-three recipe for a totally Scrumptious New Year :-

  1. Make a decision that your New Year’s Priority is to Listen To Your Inner Guidance
  2. Gift yourself an hour or two to work through the 2013 Create An Incredible Life and Business planners and revisit it monthly to celebrate/tweak/refresh.
  3. Make your visions into virtual reality with a Mind Movie of your very own. Watch it daily. Change it as your dreams come true.

โ€œCherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul; the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.โ€ ~ Napoleon Hill

Easy-peasy yet oh so powerful.

Here’s to an Incredible 2013!

Ok, now it’s your turn. What do you use to set up your New Year? Do you make resolutions? Do you hate them? Have you done any goal-setting? Or made a vision board?
The comment section awaits you ….. and I almost always reply!!

PS Just so you know, if you decide to get yourself a rocket-boost start to 2013 by buying either the Incredible Life/Business Planners or Mind Movies through any of these links, this goddess will get an itty bitty slice of the financial pie. Probably enough to buy a latte … and some pie, maybe.

But even if I didn’t, I’d still recommend both of them … they’re that awesome.

Such a joy to read your work Sweetie and it has reminded me that I purchased Mind Movies and shamefully never used it.
So I’ll dust it off, think my copy is slightly older than yours – Ooops – and I’ll give it a go.
Thank you for reminding me…I know exactly where it is as I came across it on Monday.
Do you think the Universe is trying to tell me something!

Jacqueline Gates January 3, 2013 at 6:10 pm

Definitely trying to tell you something! lol
I’m on a mission to USE everything I’ve bought … and not buy anything more until I have.

Hmmm methinks that’s another good blog post!

Hello My Friend!!

I love it! Yes Yes Yes!! Mind Movies WORK!! I am LIVING PROOF too!! Larry and I made ours in 2009 and many of the dreams and goals in our beautiful movies are Stone Cold Reality now!! I love to watch it all the time, especially for all the hard work I put into choosing the right words and pictures, as well as music. You know it’s a goodie if it makes you CRY by the end! That’s when it’s stirring up all that manifesting EMOTION!!

I would love to share each other’s! How could we do that?

Jacqueline Gates January 3, 2013 at 6:12 pm

Hello, Limitless one!

(Missed you oodles, you know!)

You’re so right about the stirring emotion at the end of Mind Movies … definitely makes things happen faster!

We could probably upload them to YouTube and share links … that’d be fun!

Well, it has been a while hasn’t it Jacqui? So happy to connect again via Beth’s blogging challenge.

You post is making my mind race! I love the idea of “Mind Movies” …Oh boy another shinny object, but one that can be useful for me. I spent the month of December shaving down groups, unsubscribing to those emails I once subscribed to and have everything in place for 2013.

Always working on my Inner Guidance..

Jacqueline Gates January 3, 2013 at 6:15 pm

Isn’t it a luvverly feeling when ‘everything’s in place’ for the New Year?!

I’m totally with you on the clearing out of groups, emails, clutter … the house move helped but it’s definitely been a conscious effort to ‘make room’

And I absolutely understand the ‘ooh shiny’ syndrome … but I have to admit, both of these kick butt!

Lovely to connect again, gorgeous one.

You are the epitome of ‘following inner guidance’.

Beth Hewitt January 2, 2013 at 6:02 pm

Hello Jacqui,

Lovely to be back on your blog again. I love how this challenge is bringing familiar faces back together again. It does seem as though the universe is on a mission right now. Thank you for sharing these.

I remember mind maps from a few years ago, although I don’t think I used it and the workbooks look fabulous. Thanks you sharing these. Off to look at them more closely.

Beth ๐Ÿ™‚

Jacqueline Gates January 3, 2013 at 6:17 pm

Hi, Ms Beth

I’ve used mind maps too … but there’s something about having moving pictures, and words, and music that gets the manifesting magic going much faster.

And I think you’ll love the planner/workbooks.

Thanks for the arse-kick thinly disguised as a Blogging Challenge … it was just what this goddess needed!

Hi Jacqui, Glad to see your latest post. You really know how to get back on track. I can relate a lot about gaining your desired weight and slacking again. I should do my best to maintain the things I achieve. Looking forward to your next post.

Kimba January 4, 2013 at 9:52 am

I like to use vision boards as tools. I have one for decorating, career, and relationships. It’s amazing how patterns start to emerge and you can see where you want your home/work/relationship to move and grow.

Jacqueline Gates January 5, 2013 at 3:34 pm

Oooh another decorating diva! I’d love to see your board for decor, Ms Kim. There’s a lot of people who use Pinterest for that … do you?

Diane Marie January 4, 2013 at 10:32 am

Loved reading this and it reminded me that I also have Mind Movies, although it might have been on the computer that crashed last year. Will need to check that out and get back to it myself. You have such a beautiful and intriguing style to your writing. I have signed up to take a creative writing workshop that starts Feb. 6th. I am so excited about it. Blessings to you Jacqueline!

Jacqueline Gates January 5, 2013 at 3:34 pm

Thanks you for the lovely words about my writing style … I do so appreciate it! Sometimes I think I get a bit ‘flowery’ but then, fortunately, this is not an essay competition lol

Have fun with your creative writing course, angel. That was always my favorite subject at school.

Nathalie Villeneuve January 4, 2013 at 1:16 pm

Thank you for sharing these 2 awesome tools! I will definitely take a peak at Mind Movies…It intrigues me and seems fun!

Louise Edington January 4, 2013 at 1:55 pm

I knew something felt off! I have used similar tools to this and I have been so caught up in other stuff I have not taken the time to do this. Thank you for the reminder and I am off to look at mind movies right now!

I have always loved your articles Jacqueline, they are so simple yet powerful, so different yet so you. I turn to your articles for support whenever I feel weak. Yes I have made a resolution for this year and am trying to implement it too, but your vision movie is something I need to try, hope it helps my goal.

Jacqueline Gates January 31, 2013 at 11:23 am

Thank you for the lovely words, Merlin … and I totally believe that you’ll manifest your resolution, whatever it might be. Hold the vision of what you want before you, and everything else will fall into place.

And if I can help with coaching, give me a call.
