So, early in May this year,
I get this message in my Facebook inbox …
Hi Jacqueline, You know how I adore you and your messages!
<<I rather liked that bit!>>
I am in the process of putting together my first online course
combining dreamwork and artwork.
So far, the people participating are Claudia Olivos, Arlene Holtz, Jennifer McGee Urbanek, Shelly Penko, Michelle Kral, Kristen Powers, and Sheri Ann Ponzi will be doing a guided meditation for the course.
<<Ok, so I’ll admit being the vastly non-drawy-painty-artistic type,
I had absolutely no idea who these women were,
but when I found out…
They are a mega-talented and fahbulous lot!>>
<<I’ll stop interrupting now …>>
I am writing to you to find out if you would be interested in making a video for the course.
The course is focused on messages we receive from our nighttime dreams.
In one of your videos, you talked about giving ourselves a name, something to aspire to.
I have this idea that you could discuss this concept,
and suggest we name our own Dream Maker.
That creative part of us that is not bound by the same restrictions
that we have in our daily lives.
<< I’d never considered my I-Am-Label-Changing process
being used to unfetter a creative spirit,
but I got melty at the thought …>>
I named myself “Gypsy Dream Dancer” after watching your video.<<swoon>>
Now, I can stop and think “what would Gypsy Dream Dancer do?” <<happydance>>
I think this is a helpful and productive tool.
It’s a great way to tap our inner power and bring things into focus.
Let me know if you would be interested in joining us on this journey!
Thank you for your time and consideration,
<<*regaining composure* Oh, anytime, angel.>>
So ladies, may I present to you ….
I am deeply honoured to be part of such a madly creative and talented group.
I hope you’ll go have a look at what’s possible
when you begin Dancing With Your Dreams.
PS You know, never in a million years would I have thought
that I’d be part of a group of artists such as this.
But when you follow your own dreams,
stand in your truth
and teach what you know,
you never know who’ll you’ll touch,
who you’ll inspire,
who you’ll play with
and who, in turn, will invite you to play with them.
